STEPS TO REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

1. Where are we now?  Take the 10 question RI Energy Survey for Religious Institutions now!

2. Start tracking energy consumption. RI IPL has a Partnership Agreement with EPA's Energy Star for Congregations so RI's faith community can share data.  For info, click here.

3. Get support for your congregation's carbon reduction efforts. RI IPL programs include:
  • congregational level fund raisers to go green
  • youth engagement in learning about alternative  energy and energy conservation
  • adult presentations aimed on education, action and/or advocacy
  • connecting your congregation with the others around RI & the USA.
